Impressum - legal notice

Let's start with one that appears on nearly every German website. "Impressum", the details that must, by law, be included on all German websites. But how to translate it?

Here are a few possibilities:
  • Legal Notice
  • Disclaimer
  • Contact Details
  • About Us
  • About This Website
  • Who We Are
Look at your Impressum page and decide what it includes. Normally, the best translation is something like "About Us / Disclaimer", i.e. a combination of two of the above possibilities.
